Contest Beat

I’ve heard of Entrecard before on a couple of high profile blogs but to be honest haven’t really checked it out for myself. However some of you guys might be using it and could do with the 100 Entrecard points that Dax Desai is giving away on his blog. Here’s a brief rundown on what Entrecard is first though:

You join their program and drop your cards on people’s sites earning you entrecard points. You also earn points when others advertise on your site. Once you have enough points you get the opportunity to buy advertising with your points on other sites. This is a great deal because some of the sites praticipating charge upto $500 for a 125×125 spot. Entrecard is your chance to advertise on high-traffic, big name blogs for practically free.

There are a number of ways to enter including blogging about the contest (3 entries), subscribing to his feed (1 entry) and adding him to your technorati favorites (1 entry), although I suggest you check out the contest post for full details. The contest ends on 7 December.
