$5,000 for Making a Quick Video

November 8th, 2007 Random

Here’s one for all you would be video editors and film directors out there, Scholar Point want you to make up a video that embodies one of the three words in their motto: Simple, Instant, or Complete. It can basically be on anything you like, as long as it conveys a message using one of the aforementioned words. They summarized the process of submitting your video pretty well in the email they sent, so I won’t rewrite it, instead here’s a copy and paste:

  1. Submit a SIC-Vid between November 5th - December 5th, 2007. We’re suggesting your video be 60 seconds or less in length. However, if you think your vision needs a little more time, up to 2 minutes is also fine.
  2. Your video must include our URL, www.scholarpoint.com, plus at least 1 of the 3 words in our motto: Simple. Instant. Complete. This can be represented visually with text or graphics or be spoken or even sung.
  3. Submit your video to ScholarPoint’s contest group on YouTube. Next, send us an email contest@scholarpoint.com with your name and your video’s YouTube link.
  4. Promote your SIC-Vid until January 5, 2008. The winner will be selected from the 10 videos that receive the most positive comments on YouTube.
  5. Winner will be announced January 25, 2008.

Oh, I almost forgot the reason you should look seriously at entering this one - $5,000 cash. Need I say more?

  1. thanks for the tips
