John Chow and Shoemoney are having a competition between themselves to see who can increase their RSS subscriber base by the highest amount during the month of October.

John Chow, being the evil internet marketer that he is, is going all out to get more subscribers to his feeds - including giving away prizes such as an iPod Nano, a review on his blog (worth $400), free ads on his site, etc. You can check it all out here - he is also asking for more prizes to be offered up from other Bloggers in exchange for a plug on his site - so if you have anything like that, feel free to get in touch with him.

Will Shoemoney offer something similar to try and pump up his subscriber numbers? It depends, the normal Shoemoney I know wouldn’t care, but this little competition might really get his competitive juices flowing.
