Wow, the Contest Beat Contest About Contests has been a great success. I just finished going through all the entries and there were 26 entrants in total, not too bad!

As you know, to enter you needed to blog about what you think would be the absolute best contest prize to give away that costs $100 or under, and can be shipped almost anywhere in the world. We got all sorts of suggestions from cold hard cash, to software, video games, pocket knives, you name it! However the winner that I am selecting as coming up with the best suggestion is DomTan, who suggested $100 cash. Now before you start saying there is no imagination there, or what about all the other entrants who suggested cash too, make sure you read Dom’s entry post. He goes in to great detail about exactly why cash is the best prize and has the most wide-ranging appeal. He even went one step further and listed the top 5 prizes to giveaway, all with respective reasoning. All in all I thought it was the best entry. So to Dom, I will be in touch about how you can claim you $50 paypal or Amazon voucher.

I also wanted to give a quick mention to eMenang who came up with the idea of giving a portrait to the winner, and also The Good Stuff, who suggested a pocket knife that I thought was pretty awesome. In fact I could give a notable mention to just about everyone, but basically already did that by linking back to all entries below!

For the second, random winner of another $50 via paypal or Amazon voucher, I assigned each entry a number as you can see below and simply visited Random.org to get a winner… and that winner was Link and Earn - again I will get in touch with how you can claim your prize! Or if you want to beat me to the punch, you can get in touch here (same for you Dom).
