The Top 20 Contest Blogs
You may or may not be aware that the contest blogging niche has basically exploded in the last couple of weeks/months. When I started on September 5 this year there was one other blog (or maybe two) that were dedicated to contests. Well if you take a look at this just published list of the top 20 contest blogs, there is now (obviously) at least 20 and probably much more! Pretty crazy.
We come in at number 2 on the list, which I am very happy with. And the daily visitors, number of RSS subscribers and technorati ranking here at Contest Beat also prove, I hope, that I am doing my job :). However that isn’t to say that I can cover all the contests going on across the blogosphere, although I try to catch all of them, so you might wanna check out some of the blogs and see what is going on there too.
I’m just amazed how many new blogs there are in the niche… if you look at the age of the top blogs though it looks like there are definite early mover advantages, just like with anything I suppose.

That’s a good list, to know. Wish there was a blog dedicated to rooting out writing projects on the blogosphere. There must be at least tens of writing projects daily, at lest.
