Win a Wii with John Cow
John Cow is running another contest, this time for a Nintendo Wii, to follow up from the PS3 contest that they had earlier. If you ask me, while the PS3 is more valuable, Sony have really botched up their chance in the next generation console war, and the Wii is a superior console. If you want fun, get a Wii (I don’t have one btw, I have a Xbox 360).
Anyway, if you want to win you need to make a decent sized post about their contest, as well as include a couple of links, including one to their sponsor Cell for Cash. As I said the Wii is very fun to play and you have no reason not to enter!
That brings me to a question… I wonder how Contest Beat would go about getting a sponsor to run our first comp. Yes, it is very early days yet, but everyone wins with a sponsor! Either way, hopefully we’ll win one of these contests we tell you guys about one day, and then have something to giveaway… maybe

Sounds nice, but I don’t trust sites like these for two important reasons:
1. It’s very easy to fake a winner.
2. Participants keep linking to them and they get bigger and more popular (and most importantly make LOTS more money), so they can repeat these contests again to continue the loop.
I’d rather earn my way towards getting a free wii
While it might be easy to fake a winner, I don’t think most people would jeopardize their online reputation in order to run a contest. Just my opinion.
